Mass-transit provides lower cost transportation, reduces traffic and demand for parking, reduces damage done to roads and infrastucture by automobiles, reduces carbon (and other) pollution, createsjobs, and allows people to connect. Each aspect is valuable in it's own right and when combined demonstrates the value public transportation brings to urban life.

Seattle can enhance access to the city by widening the East and West routes and connections.

Increase development of the light rail program to reach farther into the Nothern District.

Reevaluate the benefits and further expansion of the First Avenue Streetcar as planned. Can the directions be changed?
